Finger Painting!

Carter and I went outside this morning while Colt was taking a nap. At first we played with sidewalk chalk. Then, we brought out the easel and painted! It was so much fun. Now our porch is painted red, yellow, and blue! (Better our porch than our living room!!!)

Bath Time!

Colt has finally started enjoying his baths. At first, he used to scream the entire time. Now, he likes to talk during his bath. I can't wait until the boys can take baths together...that will be so much fun.

HAPPY EASTER!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We had the egg hunt at our church on Saturday morning. We colored eggs at my grandma's house Saturday afternoon, and we spent Sunday at church and visiting family. Here are some pics.

HOW CUTE!

Aunt Jessica brought Carter this Easter basket. She decided to stick Colt in the basket and take a picture! His outfit matches the basket. Isn't he precious!

Ready For Easter!

Aunt Jessica (Eric's sister) came in from Houston and spent time with Carter & Colt. Carter made cookies with Aunt Jessica, and he couldn't wait to eat them. She brought Easter goodies for both the kids. What a great Aunt!!! We love you Jessica.

Growing So Fast!

Colt is getting so big and his personality is really starting to show. He is such a good baby. He loves his Nannie!

The Tonsil NIGHTMARE!

Carter was scheduled to have his tonsils taken out on March 4. Three days before his surgery, he came down with tonsilittis again. The doctor said he still wanted to do his surgery, so Carter had his tonsils and adenoids taken out anyway. It turned into an absolute nightmare. It turns out that we should have waited to have the procedure done. Carter was in so much pain. He was coughing and sneezing after his surgery, so everything stayed agitated. He went about two weeks without sleeping...up four or five times at night screaming. Nannie & Pawpaw came to visit Carter. He was having a good day so we took some pictures. They bought him a Thomas the Train puzzle and a conductor outfit. Isn't he cute! He lost five pounds after his surgery...so he looks even more pale than usual!

Officer Carter!

The police came to visit Carter at his school, and he got a special police badge. He was so excited about it. He wore it to church so that he could show everyone!
